Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
The role will play a key part in driving the exercise to uplift and/or create the reporting rule interpretations maintained within Regulatory operations. It will require the ability to comprehend the various non-financial regulatory reporting rules, and to document the rule interpretations. This will involve both working independently, and working closely with the Regulatory Operations team and other departments such as Compliance and Legal.
Basic Qualifications • Ability to read, understand, and interpret non-financial regulatory reporting rules – e.g. EMEA Takeover panel rules, Global Major shareholder reporting, FINRA Short Interest reporting, SEC Section 13F, 13G
- Ability to document the interpretations with strong analytical skills and judgment
- Excellent communication skill, written and verbal
- Ability to pay attention to details and thoroughness of execution
- Flexibility and ability to learn quickly
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Leadership and pro-active attitude
- Experience with regulatory reporting
- Legal/Compliance background
