About Business Management
The business management function within Group Technology provides business management support across all business lines. This covers but is not restricted to financial management, workforce management, communications, and departmental operations.

Overall purpose of role

The role is for a Planning & Vendor Analyst within the Group Technology Chief of Staff organization. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide day to day operational services and support for Group Technology teams (including Infrastructure Services, Functions Technology, CTO, Tech Risk & Control and Data. The role is specifically tasked with looking after functional vendor and financial governance related data and processes.

In addition, the role holder will be expected to contribute to initiatives that drive consistency and efficiency across the wider Business Management function by supporting appropriate streams within the function (i.e. standardized tooling and process for financial forecasting which would be leveraged across the CoS organization).

Key Accountabilities
Vendor Management: · Responsible for updating and maintaining Spend portal spend data on an ongoing basis
· Incident/query investigation and resolution related to vendor spend
· Monitoring of outstanding and aged invoices and POs,
· Closing of POs to release accruals
· Goods Receipt of invoices for the related POs
· Raising of shopping carts for POs or raising requests for self service/STP deals - creation and request of POs post Sourcing approval
· Responsible for monthly analysis and review of exceptions report
· Monitoring invoice payment statistics for variance and exceptions to SLA
· Providing ongoing and ad hoc support to Business managers on all aspects of PO creaton and invoice approval
Financial Management: · Provide financial analysis and tracking support as it relates to the designated business area being supported
· Monitor invoice spend and run rate analysis as required
· Engage with Business manager representatives to help them understand monthly variances to forecast, provide commentary around variances
· Clarify appropriate cost centre usage for various spend across

- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards

Basic Qualifications and Key Skills: · High attention to detail
· Good financial management experience
· Strong communication skills
· Strong analysis and problem solving skills

· Strong personality to ensure compliance to agreed processes
· Strong communicator to upward management and peers
· Prior experience of working in a corporate banking environment and/or a Global Technology Organization
· Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and planning tools (Microsoft Project)
· SharePoint
