Job Description
Job Title: L2 Ops support (Prepaid)

Job Level: L2 support
Function: IT
Location : Delhi NCR
Reporting to : Service lead (prepaid)

Purpose of the Job
The job holder will be responsible for the following on one or more platforms:
ensure availability & integrity of the platform & processes
ensuring alert effectiveness & closure discipline of tickets, alerts
plan & drive house-keeping activities (patch deployments, DR drills, testing, etc.)
level-2 analysis of problems; RCAs
driving CAPA & SIP programs for concerned platform
utilization tracking & capacity management
security compliance of the respective platforms
Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)
Must be able to analyze & trouble shoot issues at level-2
Ensure support to patch/release deployment activities after testing the impact of same
Maintain service levels pertaining to incidents & service request closure
Engage with L3/vendor team to drive RCA & CAPA closures
Support Problem management, Capacity management, Change testing
Designing of ROTA, alerts, procedures for smarter sharper & leaner ops
i Must be a good team Player and flexible to stretch in times of crisis or urgencies
Decision level

Shared: Aid the service leads
in designing better alerts, procedures, SOPs & controls from ops perspective

Demostrate (Key competencies)
Certified knowledge of ITIL standards
BSS/OSS/Telecom domain knowledge. Ops experience of at least a year on relevant or similar (OSS/mediation, recharge platform, CRM & provisioning; Msg-Broker)
Working knowledge in data loading from external files/DB by using SQL*Loader, External Tables, Export & Import utilities and DB Links.
Hands on experience in UNIX, Shell scripting, telnet, SFTP, SCP and Cron-tab
Working knowledge of Oracle forms, reports & Workflow Builder
Analytical approach to trouble shooting
Ability to work under pressure and take on stretch goals
Educational Level
B E , B Tech; MCA or Graduate in science steam with requisite IT training/diplomas.

Working Experience

Must have:
4-8 years of work experience; with at least 2 years of L1 experience on related or similar platforms
