Reporting to the Manager of Communication Services, the IT Manager of the Communication Services group will provide oversight to a team of voice and data network engineers who provide operational support and service delivery for Franklin Templeton’s converged voice and data network services.

Responsibilities include:
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and other tasks such as monitoring and managing capacity and performance as required to efficiently and securely transport voice, data and video throughout Franklin’s global converged voice and data network.
Partner with Infrastructure Services organization operations and engineering teams to effectively run the operational processes and procedures associated with the ongoing management and administration of Communication Services.
Lead the team in responding, resolve and to determine root cause analysis for short and long term fixes.
Represent the team on cross-functional teams that have been assembled to troubleshoot and to resolve complex, high severity problems.
Respond to high severity problems to provide after-hours “on call” operational support and leadership.
Measure and report on Communication Key Performance Indicator metrics to manage the health of the functional area and report progress for continuous improvement at operational management forums.
Partner with Architecture and Engineering teams and other stakeholders to influence technical and business decisions to build and operate communications infrastructure products and services for the organization.
Recommend and implement solutions to provide automation to drive greater Service Delivery efficiency and maturity.
Develop and manage project and operational budgets.
Partner with Vendor Relationship Managers to procure services and to manage vendor performance and contracts.
Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies and processes. Evolve and apply to continuously improve IT services.
Recruit, develop and coach a team of Communication Services Engineers to successfully deliver services.
Develop opportunities to enhance cross-team effectiveness and promote strong teamwork, collaboration, and excellent service delivery
Participates in planning activities to develop a short term operational and long term strategic plans.


Required Qualifications:
5+ years experiences leading teams responsible for Voice and Data Network Operations and Service Delivery for global mid to large sized corporations with geographically dispersed populations.
Demonstrated technical management knowledge in the areas of converged Enterprise Voice, Data, and Video Networks, Unified Communications, Network Performance Optimization, Network Access and IP Management, Wireless and Mobile Technologies. Specifically, Expertise with the Genesys Contact Center platform, Cisco network and unified communication technologies, Microsoft Lync, Riverbed Steelhead Performance Optimization technologies and NICE call recording technologies.
Passionate, collaborative, results-oriented leader with a proven track record of inspiring and building strong performing teams.
Experience in implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures.
Experience leading geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the required ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organization and planning skills.
Strong influencing / negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills.
Demonstrated financial and contract management skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Desired Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Information Security and Risk Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Avoidance/Recovery best practices.
Financial Services industry experience.
