Designation- Partner Sales Manager Location – Bangalore The key responsibilities for the position include: To Identify , Recruit and Manage Partners in the Retail segment. To manage Partners who work with the College segments and fresher’s. To Enable and Educate the Partners to position and sell VMware trainings to this segment. To help Plan the Marketing /Campaign activities for the Partners and also to expand the Market share.

To closely work with the Partner sales team and to assist them to achieve their Targets. Establish relationship with Partner at all levels including the Management. Ensure that the Partner complies with the Rules of Engagements of the Partnership and there is no violation. To ensure that the Partners payments come in on time.

Desirable Skills and Experience: Prior experience and understanding of the IT Education, vendors and completion is required. Minimum 10 + years of relevant experience is a must. Prior knowledge and experience working with the retail market. Excellent understanding of technology and relating the value to a customer’s business requirements.

The candidate should have relevant technical understanding of technology. Be able to execute persuasive sales techniques. Demonstrated success in previous sales roles by exceeding targets. An understanding of the channel market, across the territories to help identify and nurture key influencers within each opportunity.

First class presentation, planning and leadership skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Be a natural team player and have a desire to work with others for broader success. Be able to operate successfully in a rapidly changing, ambiguous and less defined environment.

Outstanding time management and organizational skills. Demonstrate effectiveness through weekly reports to track performance and results. Be familiar with CRM systems and be able to input lead data regularly to enable results tracking Result Oriented, Positive attitude, energetic, self-motivated and persistent (not afraid of rejection) Ability to Motivate the Partner Sales teams.
